The Lee County Port Authority has started work on the terminal roadway improvements that are part of the Terminal Expansion Project Phase 2 at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW). Travelers will notice construction fencing on the lower level roadways and there will be changes to the location of ground transportation options starting Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025.

Current bid opportunities with LCPA are posted on Ion Wave. Use of Ion Wave is not a mandatory requirement to do business with the Lee County Port Authority. The Lee County Port Authority’s DBE Program provides DBEs with the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts and subcontracts financed in whole or in part with or without federal funds pursuant to the FAA’s 49 CFR Part 26.1, 26.23.
The Port Authority has received Federal financial assistance from U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), and as a condition of receiving this assistance, LCPA has signed an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 26.
It is the policy of the Port Authority to ensure that DBEs, as defined in Part 26, have an equal opportunity to receive and participate in DOT-assisted contracts awarded by LCPA.
